Families looking for a larger and more spacious hybrid car will fall in love with the charming Toyota Prius V. This new hybrid has already hooked many Texas families, who love the car's excellent cargo and passenger space, fantastic fuel economy and fun tech amenities.
For its 2015 model year, the Prius V is updating the hybrid's front-end styling and taillights. It's also imbuing the Prius with new family-oriented tech features, as well. Looking first at the Prius' new front-end, Toyota has restyled the headlights and bumper to make it more in line with its European cousin, the Prius+. Top level trims will also add LED headlights and foglights to the new front.
The hybrid's interior is also getting a few upgrades, such as an eight-way adjustable power driver's seat and a new 4.2-inch TFT screen that will be near the car's gauges. This new screen will show a variety of information, including navigation, climate control settings and fuel economy. Upper level trims will get the latest version of Toyota's Entune infotainment system that sports a 6.1-inch touchscreen. New safety features include lane departure alert and automatic high beams.
All trims get a host of new colors this model year, such as Absolutely Red, Toasted Walnut Pearl and Attitude Black Metallic. No changes under the hood on the 2015 Toyota Prius V, Dallas drivers should expect to find the same excellent 1.8-liter Atkinson-cycle four cylinder hybrid powertrain as on previous models.
