After a long year of waiting GrapeFest is finally back, and this year promises to be better than ever!
As one of Grapevine's most beloved community events, GrapeFest attracts more than 200,000 guests annually with its family-friendly atmosphere, unique wines and amazing food.
Started back in 1986, GrapeFest is the largest wine festival in the Southwest where attendees can sample a myriad of fantastic wines from across Texas as well as premier wines from Washington and Italy.
The festival offers a variety of events for its attendees including the popular People's Choice Wine Tasting Classic, GrapeStomp and KidsWorld. And with five stages of live entertainment, great souvenirs and fantastic people, GrapeFest 2014 is by far the most fun you'll have all month.
Doors open at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 11th, with the festivities ending Sunday, September 14th at 6 p.m.
Admission is free for the first two days for all guests. For Saturday and Sunday, admission prices are $8 for adults and $5 for seniors (62+) and children (6-12). Children under five are admitted free of charge.
Weekend passes as well as souvenir weekend passes are also available for $18 and $23, respectively.
So head on down to Historic Downtown Grapevine this weekend to experience all the fun that GrapeFest has to offer as this yearly tradition continues to charm locals and wine-enthusiasts alike!
