Even after Toyota’s excellent refresh of the ever popular 2015 Camry, the automaker is still not content to rest on its laurels. This February, the automaker is debuting an even edgier special edition Camry model that builds on its already aggressive redesign. The Corolla is also getting an edgier edition that will boast more tech and luxury features.
The Camry’s new model is based on the SE trim, which offers a slightly sportier version of the car. The new model comes with 18-inch wheels with black highlights, new paint colors (Blizzard Pearl and Blue Streak Metallic) and smoked taillights. The car’s interior will also be getting a bit more edge thanks to blue centers and black bolsters for the seats, as well as matching blue highlights for the instrument panel and interior trim. On the tech side, the new Camry special edition will offer push-button start, a moonroof, an Entune Audio Plus stereo and an optional navigation system.
For the Corolla, Toyota is switching out the Camry’s blue trim for a red theme. This new Toyota Corolla will be based on the S Plus trim and will include a new set of gloss black 17-inch wheels, as well as new paint colors (Absolutely Red, Super White and Black Sand Pearl). Red stitching accents the car’s new interior on the seats, door trim and instrument panel. The Corolla is also getting new interior tech upgrades, including push button tart, upgraded navigation system and a power moonroof.
