Last month, we announced the beginning of our newest venture: Texas Toyota's Teacher's Tab. Designed to offer support to our local Grapevine teachers, the Teacher's Tab is one of our most exciting initiatives of the New Year.
As we mentioned before, to start off our new initiative, we helped sponsor two local teachers' trip to Zambia, where they worked to help train and consult with local educators to improve the educational lives of children. To help get our teachers - Mike and Teri Rhodes - to Zambia, Texas Toyota donated over $100 worth of school supplies, as well as several toys for the children to play with. Mike shared with us that these supplies and toys proved to be invaluable resources during their trip - the Frisbees we sent were a big hit!
