Texas Toyota is proud to announce that last month's Teacher’s Tab/School Supplies Drive was a huge success. Over 1,200 people participated in the program by nominating their school on our Facebook page. In the end, four local schools - Hanes Elementary, Webb Elementary, Lively Elementary and Ponder Elementary – received school supplies.

Hanes Elementary was our big winner, thanks to the efforts of Hanes teacher Katie Mejia, who got over 235 parents, teachers and friends to help Hanes Elementary come out on top. The way the contest works is simple. All you have to do is nominate your school on our Facebook page when the contest is announced and the school that gets the most likes will receive at least five bags of school supplies.

Texas Toyota's Teacher's Tab is our way of giving back to our local communities, especially our local schools. We know that many teachers pay for their classroom’s school supplies out of their own pocket, which is why we've chosen to help our teacher's by donating these supplies. If you would like to nominate your school for a chance to win school supplies, like our Facebook page or follow us on Instagram to see when we announce our next contest in the coming months.

Once again, we would like to thank all those who came out and supported their school. Up next, we will be participating in Project Graduation, so stay tuned to our Facebook page to learn more about this year’s program. If you would like more information about our Teachers’ Tab/Supplies Drive, contact us or visit our Toyota dealership in Grapevine.
