The magic of the holiday season is once again upon us and that means the Gaylord Texan Resort will be bringing that magic to life at their annual Lone Star Christmas celebration.
Featuring a host of wonderful holiday-themed events and festivities, Lone Star Christmas is the place to be this year to get you and your family into the holiday spirit. Do a little “snow tubing” at Santa’s Wild Workshop or participate in “The Elf on the Shelf” Scavenger Hunt. Or just make your way through acres of incredible holiday decorations, have milk and cookies with Mrs. Claus, and view over 2 million twinkle lights around the resort.
One of our most highly recommended activates is the ICE! event that features an all-new theme this year, “Christmas Around the World.” This new attraction brings together holiday cultural traditions from around the globe, showcasing how people everywhere celebrate the season. There will also be two-story tall ice slides, a “Frostbite Factory" with ice carving, and a Parade of Toys. Kids can even travel to the North Pole and sit in Santa’s sleigh!
