The State Fair of Texas is back once again this October and we are super excited about welcoming this thrilling local event back to our wonderful community.

The State Fair is one of the most beloved local events around the Dallas area, attracting thousands of visitors every year. This year, there is even more to do, including the fair’s infamous rides, a fun car show, terrific food, an adorable dog show, livestock exhibits and so much more!

Ongoing since 1886, the State Fair has earned a place in the hearts of Texans who look forward to the fun and frivolity that the fair has to offer. This year, the State Fair is taking place between Sept. 25 and Oct. 18, meaning that you have only a few more days until the fair is gone for another year.

We hope you will head down to the fairgrounds at Dallas’ Fair Park this week to experience this fantastic annual event. Tickets can be purchased online now or at the fair’s entrance. Please be sure to bring plenty of water while visiting the fair and comfortable walking shoes.

The State Fair of Texas closes its door this Saturday, Oct. 18, so take the whole family to the fairgrounds in Dallas today!
