One Grapevine High School graduate now has some new wheels to ride around in after winning a free 2012 Toyota Yaris from Texas Toyota! The graduate won the car at Project Graduation on June 2, 2016.

“We are honored to again be one of the sponsors for this event," said Neal Assad, general manager at Texas Toyota. "This is just another way for us to show how much we really do care about our community. These graduates are our future leaders, and we believe in each and everyone one of them. We are very proud of these kids, and we wish them all the best in their future endeavors!”

Adult-supervised and alcohol-free activities are offered at Project Graduation. The post-graduation party serves as an alternative to student-run events that often involve alcohol or drugs. At Grapevine High School, Project Graduation has become a huge hit with parents and students over the years – so much so that the school has had a 90 percent participation rate among seniors for the last 25 years.

Aside from the free car, every participating senior received a $50 gift card. There was also a huge selection of door prizes offered to graduates. They also got to bowl, play games and mingle with friends at this safe and fun event. A big thanks to all the parent volunteers, sponsors and those who donated to make this year’s Project Graduation a huge success!
