2017 RAV4 Gets Two New Trims & Toyota Safety Suite

The 2017 Toyota RAV4 will be on its way to Texas Toyota of Grapevine soon, and we’re anxiously awaiting its arrival. Complete with two brand-new trim options for the new model year and Toyota Safety Sense P, the brand’s suite of safety technologies, the SUV is sure to be a top selection in the compact crossover segment.

Car buyers on the hunt for a new SUV this upcoming year should consider the RAV4. For 2017, the model offers new SE and Platinum trims that each come with a number of admirable features. On the SE, which is available solely under the Toyota Hybrid lineup, owners will receive 18-inch wheels, a power driver’s seat, honeycomb grille, SofTex covered seats, a Hybrid Gauge Cluster and 4.2-inch display.

The top-of-the-line Platinum trim will offer keyless entry/ignition, a remote power liftgate, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, 8-way power driver’s seat, Platinum door sill protectors, a heated steering wheel and heated front seats. Navigation and a Premium JBL sound system will also be included.

In addition to the new trims, the 2017 RAV4 will come standard with Toyota Safety Sense P, which adds on Pedestrian Detection, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Automatic High Beams, and Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist.
