When the 2018 Toyota Tundra is released on the market, a new TRD Sport model will be a part of its lineup. The incoming trim will be offered on 4x4 and 4x2 examples with either a CrewCab or Double Cab configuration. Offering performance upgrades and additional features, the TRD Sport takes the Tundra to new heights.
The first thing buyers will notice about the Tundra TRD Sport is its exterior enhancements. LED headlights with smoked chrome bezel, daytime running lights, LED fog lights, 20-inch alloy silver sport wheels, a mesh grille with body color surround, a TRD bedside graphic, a color-keyed hood scoop and color-keyed mirrors are all equipped on the model. Additionally, the truck is offered in five exterior paint colors: Magnetic Grey, Midnight Black Pearl, Barcelona Red Metallic, Blazing Blue Pearl and Super White.
A TRD shift knob and TRD Sport floor mats are the most notable interior changes.
TRD Sport Tuned Bilstein Shocks and TRD front and rear anti-sway bars are included on the TRD Sport, improving performance. Power comes from a 5.7L i-Force V8 engine, delivering 381 horsepower.
Toyota Safety Sense comes standard on the 2018 Toyota Tundra TRD Sport. A number of driver-assist safety technologies are a part of the package, including Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert, Auto High Beams and Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection.
Look out for the Toyota Tundra TRD Sport to show up at Texas Toyota of Grapevine this September.
