Toyota Gifts 2,000 New Jobs to San Antonio

The expansion adds 2.5 million square feet to Toyota Texas. It introduces 2,000 new jobs and modern equipment for assembly line workers. Bringing every phase of the expansion to life will take approximately four years.

Governor Abbott noted the significance of the project: "Texas is where the world builds bigger, and Toyota shows it once more with a $3.6 billion expansion in San Antonio that doubles their factory footprint and creates 2,000 new jobs." As a result, the Sequoia, Tundra, and Tacoma will all be produced in Texas going forward.
