2017 Toyota RAV4 Overview
The 2017 Toyota RAV4 in Grapevine arrives with fresh safety features and a newly available range-topping Platinum trim. For the new model year, the RAV4 Hybrid also gains a new trim, SE, which adds sporty elements to the crossover. Aside from these additions, the RAV4 continues to offer a smooth ride, ample cargo room, a plethora of in-car features and seating for up to five passengers.

New Trims Offer First-Class Features
The RAV4 comes in five trims: LE, XLE, SE, Limited and the new Platinum. Unlike the standard model, the hybrid version offers only three trims: XLE, SE and Limited.
RAV4 Platinum
The new Platinum trim comes with special badging, a Smart Key system with push-button start, a power liftgate, SofTex-trimmed seats, a heated steering wheel, plush floor mats, foot well ambient lighting and a frameless, auto-dimming rearview mirror. Additional amenities include navigation, an 11-speaker audio system and an eight-way power driver's seat.
RAV4 Hybrid SE
The SE version of the 2017 RAV4 Hybrid in Grapevine offers a power liftgate, heated front seats, 18-inch wheels, LED lighting and a power driver's seat.
Performance Perks
The standard RAV4 is equipped with a 2.5L four-cylinder engine, delivering 176 horsepower and 172 lb.-ft. of torque. A six-speed automatic is mated to the engine and helps deliver a refined ride.
On the RAV Hybrid, a 2.5L four-cylinder and electric motor work together to produce 194 horsepower. A continuously variable automatic transmission is paired with the system and works on a standard all-wheel drive platform. Producing an EPA-estimated 32 mpg combined, 34 mpg city and 30 mpg highway, the RAV4 Hybrid is the more fuel-efficient option.
Standard Toyota Safety Sense P
For the first time ever, Toyota's Safety Sense P comes standard on all models. Highlighted in several 2017 Toyota RAV4 reviews, the package comes with Automatic High Beams, Automatic Emergency Braking, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning and Pre-Collision with Pedestrian Detection, to name a few. Other standards such as antilock brakes, airbags, and traction and stability control are also featured on the crossover.
