2023 Toyota Sequoia Exterior

The upcoming 2023 Sequoia is going to be a full-size SUV hybrid vehicle. It has several features related to towing, power, and more.

A Powerful and Versatile Vehicle

The Sequoia is rumored to have 437 horsepower and the ability to tow a max of 9000 pounds. This is an upgrade over the previous model as it is 22% more. The i-Force max hybrid engine has a twin-turbocharged V6 with the electric motor located between the transmission and the engine. It's a 10-speed automatic transmission.

It will have some helpful guidance systems like the Straight Path Exist to make it easier to make sure your trailer stays straight when you're backing up. There's also a tow tech package to help you, including the Trailer Backup guide.

The electric motor-generator makes it easier to start the engine, and it can even store energy when you're braking. The electric motor will give you an energy boost if you need it during towing or when you want to accelerate.

Trims

The rumor is that you will get 5 grade or trim levels with this vehicle. This will start with SR5, and then you can try limited, Platinum, TRD Pro, and a brand new option called the Capstone premium. Regardless of which one you choose, you still get the three rows standard. You will be able to choose between different configurations here. You can select a regular bench or get captain chairs for the second row. You can also choose to remove the last two rows if you'd rather just have more cargo space.

The dash will give you the 12.3 instrument cluster and the infotainment screen, which you can upgrade from 8 to 14 if you wish. The new vehicle here also gives you options for selecting drive mode, including Eco, normal, or sport. Different levels will provide more options like the Sport S+, Custom, and Comfort. You'll get the Android Auto and Apple Carplay integration options and WiFi for as many as 10 different devices. There's an option for a built-in voice-activated assistant as well.
