Golf was the name of the game for four of our associates on Monday, May 9, 2016, as they hit the beautiful golf course at the Timarron Country Club in Southlake, Texas for the annual Golf Shootout! Now in its 5th year, the event is a perfect way to enjoy the game of golf and raise funds for well-deserving area students through scholarships.
Managed by the Southlake Chamber of Commerce, the gathering also helped area businesses gain exposure and network with new and existing customers and local companies. The course featured various displays that highlighted each of the businesses who took part in the tournament through signage, posters, etc. Texas Toyota of Grapevine leveraged this opportunity by showcasing new Toyota vehicles like the all-new Toyota Tundra and Toyota Tacoma.
About 30 sponsors took part in the Golf Shootout and raised nearly $35,000 in donations. “We strongly believe in giving back to the community. This event was another for us to do just that. Not only was this a perfect way to get outside and enjoy a few rounds of golf, but more importantly, it was a great opportunity to show our support for our local students,” General Manager, Neal Asaad said.
