Texas Toyota of Grapevine

Toyota now officially has something in common with George Clooney (or at least his Monuments Men character) as the automotive world and the art world collide for a good cause. On August 6th, Toyota announced plans to donate $1 million dollars to the Detroit Institute of Arts. 

Texas Toyota was honored to be a part of this year's Raquel's Wings for Life Bike Rally & Fly-In, held at Decatur Municipal Airport, and we'd like to thank everyone who participated in each 8-mile, 25-mile and 55-mile bike ride.

We've still got over a year before the next-generation Toyota Prius arrives on the market, but that hasn't stopped inquiring minds from wondering what the future model has in store. The rumor mill has been circulating with everyone putting in their two cents; however, we haven't received any substantial news - until now that is.

Toyota has been a proud supporter of U.S. veterans, and to further benefit soldiers young and old, the automotive company has decided to help preserve the GI Bill of Rights by donating $100,000 to the Foundation for the National Archives. Officially named the Servicemen's Readjustment Act of 1944, the GI Bill of Rights has aided many veterans who required help readjusting to civilian life.
