2021 Toyota RAV4

What's New For the 2021 Toyota RAV4?

Most of the changes for the 2021 RAV4 are under the hood. You can now get a RAV4 that accelerates from 0-60 in less than six seconds and comes filled with amenities. This RAV4, called the Prime, is new in 2021. The two other RAV4 models, the gas-powered RAV4 and the Hybrid RAV4 return for 2021. The Hybrid now has the XLE Premium trim option, which is similar to the same trim on the gas-powered RAV4. The RAV4 has some off-road trims with standard or available all-wheel drive and torque vectoring.

2021 RAV4 Has Varied Trim Levels & Countless Features

Trim availability varies by model. The gasoline RAV4 and the RAV4 Hybrid start with seven-inch infotainment displays and an automatic direct-shift transmission in the base LE trim. They get 17-inch wheels and can be enhanced with multi-terrain select and advanced all-wheel drive. The XLE is the second trim level for both models. This trim has five-spoke alloy wheels and integrated fog lights. A smart key system opens the front doors and liftgate on demand.

The XLE Premium, which is newly added to the Hybrid lineup, adds chrome-accented wheels and a moonroof to the Hybrid. The RAV4 adds an Adventure and TRD Off-Road trim next. Both have enhanced performance capabilities, fender flares, taller roof rails on the Adventure and off-road-tuned suspension, unique black trim elements, and interior trim on the TRD Off-Road.

The Limited tops the line on the RAV4 with super chrome wheels and a fortified infotainment system. The Prime has slight differences in its amenities. The base trim, the SE, gets heated seats, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and all-wheel drive. The lineup ends with the XSE. A black two-tone roof is standard, along with a wireless charging pad and ambient cabin lighting. Heated rear seats and a heated steering wheel are available.
