What's New For the 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser?
Available in two trims, the 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser SUV offers families tremendous value in luxury and off-road performance. The all-new Heritage Edition celebrates the vehicle's rich history on the American market. This full-size SUV boasts lots of segment-leading amenities, such as the Multi-Terrain Monitor and Crawl Control.

2020 Land Cruiser Has Abundant Features
The 2020 Land Cruiser base trim comes standard with eight seats in three rows. There's nothing ordinary about this entry-level model. You'll find lots of high-end standard amenities in the cabin, such as a four-zone climate control system and heated front seats with multiple temperature settings. A rear entertainment system is optional in the Land Cruiser base model. A GPS navigation system, measuring precisely 9.0 inches, is also set up by default in this luxury family car. Designed by JBL, a 14-speaker sound system is paired with the multimedia system. Featuring seating for five people, the Heritage Edition has exclusive exterior styling, such as 18-inch bronze wheels and vortex generators in the side mirrors.
2020 Toyota Land Cruiser Power & Performance
Earning a 381-horsepower rating, a 5.7 L engine block is standard under the 2020 Land Cruiser's hood. This V8 DOHC powertrain cranks out a maximum of 401 pound-feet of torque at 3,600 RPM. Combustion cycles in the valvetrain are governed by the VVT-i technology. Additionally, the eight-cylinder propulsion system has the ULEV-II label.
The Toyota Direct Ignition (TDI) system plays a key role in the initial stages of combustion. This powerful Toyota SUV has enough strength to tow an 8,100-pound trailer. You can also embark on fun off-road adventures thanks to a handful of exclusive hardware, such as the Full-Time 4WD system. A center differential with a limit-slip mechanism and the Torsen-type design provides a major boost in traction. The 4WD system is also linked to the Multi-Terrain Select, which precisely manages the spin and other parameters in all four wheels. For example, the MTS can increase or decrease torque in the rear wheels when the Land Cruiser rolls on snow or rocks.
In fact, three different modes are dedicated to handling various types of rocky terrains. For example, the Loose Rock Mode is slightly different than the Rock & Dirt Mode. This full-size Toyota SUV also offers the Crawl Control with up to five custom speeds. The Turn Assist gives you leverage for making sharp turns on rough surfaces. With additional assistance from the Kinetic Dynamic Suspension, this SUV has excellent articulation on off-road paths.
2020 Toyota Land Cruiser Safety In the Forefront
Thanks to 10 airbags, the 2020 Land Cruiser has one of the best passive safety designs in its class. This full-size Toyota SUV is also equipped with a handful of accident-prevention features that are controlled by the Safety Sense bundle. For example, the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control automatically adjusts your headway on the highway.
