The Lamar Buffalo Ranch at Yellowstone National Park has become the first ranger station to be powered by hybrid car batteries. The 100-year-old station just completed the installation of its new power system, which uses a combination of solar power and Camry hybrid batteries.

Texas Toyota is proud to announce that last month's Teacher’s Tab/School Supplies Drive was a huge success. Over 1,200 people participated in the program by nominating their school on our Facebook page. In the end, four local schools - Hanes Elementary, Webb Elementary, Lively Elementary and Ponder Elementary – received school supplies.

Toyota has just opened its first assembly line for its new fuel cell sedan: the Mirai. Debuting last year, the Mirai is the first mass produced sedan to incorporate hydrogen fuel cell technology. Hydrogen fuel has become the next big thing in green cars across all automakers, due to its water vapor-only emissions.

Even after Toyota’s excellent refresh of the ever popular 2015 Camry, the automaker is still not content to rest on its laurels. This February, the automaker is debuting an even edgier special edition Camry model that builds on its already aggressive redesign. The Corolla is also getting an edgier edition that will boast more tech and luxury features.
